Farm Bureau 4-Her of the Year

Each month, clubs may submit one youth as 4-H’er of the month. This youth can be a junior, intermediate, or senior. At the end of the 4-H year, two 4-H’ers will be chosen from among those      4-H’ers of the month. The chosen youth will be those that have demonstrated commitment to the county     4-H program through club and project participation, volunteerism, leadership, and community service. These awards are sponsored by Farm Bureau and are accompanied by a $100 gift.

Pensacola Interstate Fair

Youth can present the efforts of various projects they have worked on throughout the 4-H year in competitive categories at the Pensacola Interstate Fair. Youth whose submissions are selected for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place as well as honorable mention receive premiums from the fair for their contribution. In addition, all youth compete for the Champion Exhibitor Award for each age category. Champion Exhibitor Awards are granted to the youth with the greatest number of points, determined by the number of submissions and increasing in point value if submissions place in their category.
