Consumer Judging Competition

Each year, Escambia County 4-H’ers are eligible to compete in the Consumer Judging Competition as part of the Pensacola Interstate Fair. Consumer Judging allows youth to learn the skill of making wise consumer choices by observing and comparing the benefits of various products by using facts to back up their decisions to purchase. The skill of making wise purchasing decisions helps youth learn to value and save money as well as to make educated decisions about the products they consume. Each year, Escambia County 4-H provides a Consumer Judging Training prior to the competition. Attendance at the training is required to participate in the competition.
