Escambia County Extension provides practical, how-to education based on research conducted by the University of Florida. Topics on which we provide educational programs include agriculture, marine sciences, family and consumer sciences, horticulture, natural resources and water quality, energy and windstorm protection, 4-H and other youth programs. In other words, there is something for everyone.

Program area advisory committees, comprised of local citizens, assure that programs are designed to meet community needs. All programs are open to all residents regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin or handicap.
