Reduce Stormwater Runoff

    Polluted stormwater runoff is one of the primary causes of water quality problems in Florida. While many commercial facilities and new subdivisions have stormwater treatment areas, many older neighborhoods have no method of treating stormwater. Homeowners can help reduce the amount of pollutants in stormwater by using less fertilizer and pesticide in their yards and reducing the square footage of impermeable surfaces such as driveways and walkways.
