The Fort Pickens Aquatic Preserve and the Yellow River Marsh Aquatic Preserve are two of four aquatic preserves managed by the staff at the Northwest Florida Aquatic Preserves Office. The office is located at Garcon Point in the Yellow River Marsh State Park. Hiking trails invite the public to learn about native upland habitats in the area.
