Food Safety

As markets expand for small fruit and vegetable growers, so do the regulations associated with food safety. Retailors of all sizes are beginning to require food safety plans and, in some cases, third party audits in order to sell. UF/IFAS Extension and the Food Safety Implementation Team is working to prepare farmers for the new market landscape and successful food safety audits.
